We’re Pregnant!
In accordance with our record-breaking past… four months dating, five months engaged, six months married…we are now pregnant! We just had our first doctor’s visit today, with the first ultrasound (see below). We are between 6 to 7 weeks along at this point, with an estimated due date of October 3, 2009. It was amazing to see the tiny heart beating on the ultrasound screen. I’ve experienced an onslaught of symptoms for the last several weeks, so I knew that I was pregnant (and the fact that the test was positive), but to actually SEE the baby, brought a whole new reality…”Wow, we really ARE pregnant!” As we are still in the early, critical stage of the pregnancy, we definitely covet your prayers during this time. I, in particular, have been struggling with fears and the “what-ifs”. I know that the Lord’s timing and sovereign purpose in our lives is perfect, but anxiety still creeps in every once and a while. Please join us in praying for this little one as he/she continues to develop over the months ahead. We are so grateful for your love and support!
