Time with Friends

I was able to spend a few days with some good friends during one of my traveling breaks. Luann and I went to school together in 2nd and 3rd grade at San Jose Christian. We reconnected when I started working at my dad’s dental office, and she was a patient. Jess and I were room mates while I was living in Santa Cruz. Jenn, Alethea, and Christi are childhood friends from our former church. All of these ladies are dear to me!

David and Ashley’s Wedding

IMG_8707

On June 26th, our friends David and Ashley were married in Saratoga. The reception was held at David’s Restaurant in Santa Clara, not to be confused with groom’s restaurant…hehe. David is the brother of my sister-in-law, Rebecca, and one of Trent’s best friends (I have to clarify WHICH sister-in-law because now I have two!). The ceremony was lovely, and the reception was truly enjoyable with scrumptious food, fun dancing, and little personal touches of the couple (like the A’s game playing on the TV screens).

The ceremony pictures are a bit unfocused, but they still capture the beauty

WA: seattle

IMG_8583

After treating ourselves to coffee in  Gig Harbor (where we saw Hillary’s name amongst the shop’s featured local musicians!), we headed for Bainbridge Island.  We spent several hours enjoying the lovely downtown, including a lunch overlooking the bay. We then took the ferry to Seattle, where we explored many of the city’s attractions.
